在每次使用前，应对过滤面罩进行检查，除头带固定钉孔以外，确认在呼吸区没有孔洞等破损，若因滤料撕裂或磨损导致头带固定钉孔扩大的现象，应视为破损。应立即更换破损的防护口罩。头带固定钉的钉孔并不影响NIOSH的认证。
